The World Famous Mad House Comedy Club Showcase Special
Up to 8 super talented comedians go onstage, back, to back, to back. You get everyone's best 10 or 15 min and if you happen to not like one comedian... you don't have to stare at them for an hour! It's like the All Star Game of Comedy and more fun than one person should be allowed to have 🙂
Michael Blaustein - Comedy Central - Person of Interest!
Michael Blaustein - Comedy Central - Person of Interest!
Whether on stage or the screen, you'll be seeing a lot more of Michael Blaustein whose accomplishments range from Comedy Central's On Campus Tour to MTV. Originally from DC, Michael decided to head to NYC to pursue acting. During his studies in the city, Michael gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "class clown". One night his antics led him to an amateur night where he fell in love with stand-up. In just a few short years, Michael booked commercials for AXE and Sprint and transitioned to lead roles in comedic films like Death of the Dead and the cult classic Alien Jelly Monsters. Michael has also hosted a number of TV shows including MTV Battlesclips. Most recently Michael can be seen as a cast member on the new and revamped version of PUNK'D for MTV.

BIOGRAPHY

Jose Sarduy
Gathering material from a wealth of life experiences, Jose takes audiences on the rollercoaster ride that’s been his life. Born in Cuba and deported because of his father’s political prisoner status, he came to the U.S. at a young age. Growing up with a hard working, and always quirky, Cuban family brought loads of funny moments everyday. From his mother’s ability to kill a chicken with her bare hands, to his Dad’s ability to hit on any woman, anytime, there was never a dull moment. What they did best was teach him to work hard for his dreams, and not forget how to laugh at life and himself. He made them proud when, after high school, he was accepted to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. He became an officer in the Air Force, is an accomplished aviator, and is a veteran having served in Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He’s been all over the world and has even been shot at in two countries. This and more he brings to the stage believing that, “if you can’t laugh at a hard time in your life, you ain’t over it yet.”

His comedy career started out in New York and Philadelphia, getting on stage anytime he wasn’t serving. He performs all over the world now and is an audience favorite for his ability to make deportation, and life threatening moments hysterical.

He’s been featured in the Air Force Times, was selected for the 2007 Latino Laugh Festival in Los Angeles, and the Lucky 21 Contest at The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. In 2008 he won the Funniest Person In South Texas Comedy Competition and was a semi-finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition. In 2009, he was a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition. In 2011 he was the winner of the Rocky Mountain Laugh Off in Salt Lake City, UT. He’s been seen on CNN, CBS, Fox, and Lifetime’s “Coming Home” with his touring group, The GIs of Comedy, and on NUVO TV’s “Comedy Unfiltered,” with Anjela Johnson. He was the co-host of NUVO TV’s "Stand Up and Deliver" which aired three seasons, and he appeared on Fox TV's "Laughs" in 2015-16 in two season as both a performer and host. Most nights you can find him on stage somewhere, but one week a month, its all dog tags and volleyball, down in Texas, teaching the next generation of top guns the basics.
Leo Flowers (Last Call w/Carson Daly, MTV, FOX, Starz)
Leo Flowers (Last Call w/Carson Daly, MTV, FOX, Starz)
A Chicago native, Leo Flowers quickly worked his way into major comedy clubs and colleges across the country. His delivery has been described as “smooth and deliberate.” No two shows are ever alike, as he’s always attacking the issues of the day and revealing personal anecdotes. Infusing stand up with storytelling, Flowers captivates audiences of all demographics.

Recently, Flowers appeared on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, was a runner-up in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and was a finalist in the 2011 Stand Up for Diversity competition. He has toured on the Shaved and Depraved Comedy Tour, and hosted both MTV’s “Sports Blender” and Starz “Staan’ ‘Dup," and was featured on "Last Call from Carson Daly," on NBC!!
Ryan Hicks - Laughs On Fox
Ryan Hicks - Laughs On Fox
He was born and raised in Texas where, at a young age, he began drawing and painting, writing stories and poetry, composing and performing music, and singing and acting in local theatre. After years of traveling and multiple creative endeavors, he moved to California where he continued to write and make music while attending college as an English major with an emphasis on film and creative writing. Throughout his studies, he finished a novel, recorded albums, worked as a teacher's assistant, tutor and office administrator, made a documentary for a grant, and upon graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors and distinction in the major, began stand up comedy. He is now a regular at the American Comedy Company, the Mad House Comedy Club, The Comedy Store (La Jolla), The Comedy Palace, and Beachwood (San Diego's #1 non-club comedy show), and has performed on Comedy Juice as well as many of the Improv comedy clubs. He's run/produced several successful shows including TABLED: Live Table Reads of Classic Action Movie Scripts, and is a two time finalist in San Diego's Funniest Person Contest. He has also appeared on Laughs on FOX, has almost 3,000 followers on Twitter.
Tre Stewart - As seen on Laughs on Fox!
Tre Stewart - As seen on Laughs on Fox!
Tre Stewart found Comedy pretty early in life. While other kids were watching cartoons he was watching Saturday Night Live, writing jokes and doing impressions preparing himself for his inevitable career in Stand Up Comedy. Tre' first picked up the mic 9 Years ago at the tender age of 16 and never looked back. Stewart possesses a relaxed, laid-back comedic delivery where the punch lines come in more of an intimate and conversational style of someone sharing a funny story over the water cooler at work or on the basketball court. The Detroit Native left the motor city in 2012 to pursue his dreams of performing comedy in Los Angeles. Just 6 months after moving to LA he was taken in by the World Famous Comedy Store and has been honing his craft there and various other clubs in and around the LA area ever since. Stewart made his television debut in April performing stand up on the show Laughs on Fox.
